Rapper Young Dolph targeted in second shooting
Written by News on 27/09/2017
Young Dolph is in hospital after being targeted in a second shooting in less than a year.
The Tennessee rapper was shot in an altercation with three men outside Loews Hollywood hotel, according to a police spokesman.
Chicago-born Young Dolph was confronted by the men and they fought before one pulled out a gun and shot him.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, TMZ reported.
The Tuesday shooting comes seven months after the 32-year-old, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr, survived a hail of gunfire aimed at his SUV in North Carolina.
After the February shooting, police found more than 100 bullet casings fired from various guns at homes and vehicles.
Three people were arrested in connection with that attack, while Young Dolph was not injured.
Police are investigating whether Tuesday’s shooting is connected to a rivalry with another hip-hop artist.
