Prince Harry’s former Audi for sale on AutoTrader for £71,900

Prince Harry’s super speedy Audi estate has been listed for sale on AutoTrader, with some speculating he may be after something more family-friendly after marrying former actress Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex was spotted driving the automatic four litre RS6 Avant, which does zero to 60mph in 3.9 seconds, to Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception with his now wife the Duchess of Sussex.
The luxury estate – priced at £71,900 – was acquired by car dealer Overton Prestige in Derbyshire. Its listing on the car-selling website states that the vehicle has had one previous owner and just 4,464 miles on the clock.
Auto Trader’s editorial director Erin Baker said: “This is a smashing car perfectly suited to any aspiring royal.
“The Audi RS6 Avant is one of the fastest estate cars on the market doing 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, and it has a roaring exhaust to excite any petrol head.
“The car boasts a 17 reg and low mileage, so it begs the questions why is the prince selling so soon?
“Maybe he’s on the market for a bigger family car, in which case we’d recommend a Skoda Superb, which won the best family car in our recent New Car Awards, or maybe he’s after an electric car, having driven Meghan away after their wedding in an electric Jag?”
The car, which the prince is thought to have driven for a year, boasts a wealth of added features including privacy glass, heated front and back seats, a heads up display and 21-inch alloy wheels – extras worth more than £11,000.
An Overton Prestige spokesman said: “Due to data protection we can’t confirm who sold the vehicle but we are completely satisfied that this car was used personally by Prince Harry over the course of the last year.”
