Man critically injured after being shot with crossbow in London

A man is in a critical condition after he was shot with a crossbow in Uxbridge, police say.
Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating after the 33-year-old was shot at about 8pm last night.
Police attended the scene – which is currently cordoned off – and found the man with an abdominal wound.
He was taken to a west London hospital and his injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
