World No 304 Sophia Popov takes a three-shot lead into the final day at Royal Troon, after a bogey-free 67 on Saturday moved her in pole position to claim a maiden major title.
Australia’s Minjee Lee – the world number 8 and also chasing her first major win – sits in a share of second alongside Thailand’s Jasmine Suwannapura, with Germany’s Caroline Masson one of three players in tied-fourth and five off the pace.
Former world No 1 Lydia Ko and seven-time major champion Inbee Park are among the players looking to end the week strongly, with Mel Reid and Georgia Hall part of a strong British contingent that made it through to the weekend.
