Caroline Kayll: Man charged over murder of teacher in Northumberland

A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with an attack on a teacher and a teenage boy in Northumberland.
Caroline Kayll, 47, was attacked at an address in Linton, along with a 15-year-old boy.
She died in hospital days later but the boy, who suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, was discharged from hospital.
Ms Kayll worked as a teacher at Atkinson House school, which caters for children with social, emotional and mental health issues.
Paul Robson, 49, of Stanley Street in Wallsend, will appear before Bedlington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Graeme Barr said: “A murder investigation is always tragic for those involved and our thoughts go out to the families at this very difficult time.
“I’d like to thank those who have come forward with information to assist us with this case, and would appeal for anyone with further information – who has yet to do so – to get in touch.”
