Coronavirus: Has England really breached the ‘worst-case’ scenario?

The prime minister said coronavirus is spreading “even faster than the reasonable worst-case scenario” after announcing a second national lockdown on Saturday.
His statement came days after the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) also warned the number of daily deaths in England is in line with that scenario, but “is almost certain to exceed this within the next two weeks”.
Sky News’ economic editors Ed Conway has been carrying out data analysis during the pandemic and was left wondering whether Boris Johnson’s warning was true.
